CrossFit Games 2021 have arrived and many CrossFit Games 2021 competitors are thrilled. Other than the traditional CrossFit Games, events for women will be held. Women's competition

The swim event was the start of the women's division at the 2021 Crossfit Games. Jonne Koski and Tia-Clair Toomey Orr won the first event. Koski was the overall champion after she maintained her lead throughout. Tall and Eramoo Connell were second and third, each. It was the first Games for women, and the women's side hoped to complete the podium.

The field is full of top-level athletes in the women's competition. The field includes nine athletes. One of them is a 19-year old powerhouse, who won the Australian competition last year. Kara Saunders of Australia, who was second in Australia and eleventh in the world in 2020, are also contenders. Andrea Nisler was also a rising star. In 2018, she competed in team division and came in third in the United States. She finished fifteenth in 2020. The Women's competition will feature these athletes as well as Sara Sigmundsdottir (an Icelandan competitor who won the first place medal at World Crossfit Games earlier last year).

Pegboard contest

Pegboard contest at Crossfit Games 2121 was a new concept. It was added to Crossfit Games' summer Olympic program alongside double-unders & dumbbell overhead Squats. Toomey-Orr won 30 of the Games' most events, setting a new record. Sager won Event 11 men's and received his third Games win. Cutting system

CrossFit Games uses a cutting system to judge individual competition. It's not as extreme as the cuts used in past Games, but still very different than this year. The competition consists of 15 individual events, so a first cut to 30 athletes is likely after the seventh or eighth event. The question is: How will CrossFit adjust points after cuts? The scoring table used to determine the winners in the 2019 games was very similar to the one used to determine the losers in 2021. This is why it's most likely that the current system will be used.

This year's CrossFit Games Field includes 236 athletes. This is the largest field in its history. The six first events lead to major cuts. The field is now reduced to 75. The top 30 then compete in a sprint couplet to determine the top ten. The top 20 competitors then compete for the remaining six events. Castro's system was criticized by veterans Games participants who felt the cuts were too large.

Reebok's equipment

Reebok has released new CrossFit Games shoes, clothing and equipment. The new shoes are the Nano X1. They are made to meet multiple fitness needs. Reebok has billed this shoe as "the shoe of fitness," but it actually feels more like a traditional training shoe. DuPont's Kevlar upper promotes breathability while ensuring durability.
